We would like to welcome you and your child to the new school year! Please take a moment to read through the following letter to prepare for the school year.

Timings & Fees

The first day of school will be next Sunday, September 15th from 10:00AM – 2:15PM. Please arrive on time for both drop off and pick up so that we can run the school efficiently to your child’s benefit.

Please note that the $550/child school fee is due on the first day of school. Please bring cash or check (written to “Georgetown Islamic Center”). The discounted rate deadline is Sept 15th, and afterwards the fee will be $600/child. Financial aid is available for qualifying students.

Preparation

Please take a moment to read the registration action items to prepare for class. Print, review, and sign the Rules and Regulations form with your child – students will turn in the completed form to their teachers on the first day. If your child will be carrying a cell phone to school, please print, read, and sign the Cell Phone Usage Agreement form and have your child turn this form in to his/her teacher. 

Students should bring a lunch and water bottle with them. They will be expected to have basic supplies every day (listed here). Books and workbooks will be provided by the school. Please make sure that they take good care of books, as there will be a fine for damages.

Our niyyah (intention) is to help every student in our school succeed in the way of Allah (SWT). We need your help in encouraging your child and helping them with school work and with implementing what they learn at school. With consistency throughout the year, insha’ Allah your child will benefit from their time in school. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can learn in the best of environments and achieve their highest potential.
